Casinos in Milton Keynes

Having been designed to look like a scaled down city and designated on the 23rd of January in 1967 as a new town, Milton Keynes is one of the youngest such places in the United Kingdom. It is one of a number of 'commuter towns' from where you can reach London with ease, though it’s also equidistant from Oxford, Cambridge, Leicester and Birmingham. Perhaps its proximity to places of such magnitude is why there is only one casino worthy of talking about within its border.

At least it has been given a helpful name. 'The Casino', as it is known, can be found within the purpose-built entertainment complex called Xscape, which is located in the middle of the town centre. It is a Super Casino and was the second such site to be opened in the UK. As you may have guessed from such a designation, the Casino is impressive in size and scope. There are more than one hundred slot machines, plenty of live table games featuring casino favourites, such as three-card poker, baccarat and Blackjack, and also an area for sports betting and bingo.

If you’re a poker fan then you’re in luck. The poker room has 150 seats and hosts both cash games and live tournaments. They both takes place throughout the week, though, obviously, at different times, and the size of the room means that you’ll be unlucky to miss out on a seat. One thing worth bearing in mind is that you need to be a member of the Casino’s Aspire Rewards Club if you’re hoping to take part in poker games.

Because Milton Keynes is purpose-built everything has its place and is easy enough to get to. As mentioned before, the Casino is located in Xscape within thecentre.mk – the main shopping centre of the town. As that also contains the Milton Keynes Theatre, it won’t be too difficult for you to track down.
