Formerly a Mint Casino, the Genting Club Southport relocated from nearby Lord Street in early 2013 to a waterfront development. Its current home is The Promenade, a short distance from Marine Parade overlooking Marine Lake. Southport is a large seaside town, part of Merseyside, in north west England, 30 miles south of its more boisterous neighbour, Blackpool.

Drivers should take the A570 towards Southport into the town centre and then onto the A565 where they will find parking available on the basement level which is approached from the rear of the casino – charges are applied. The main train station is about a mile away. The nearest airports are Liverpool (30 miles), Blackpool (35 miles) and Manchester (50 miles). As a seaside town, there are many hotels for you to choose from, however, the casino is adjacent to the Ramada Plaza which offers a casino package on Friday nights.
