Casinos in Torquay
Just 18-miles away from Exeter and less than 30-miles from Plymouth, Torquay is a delightful seaside town in Devon. As with plenty of other delightful seaside towns, it welcomes numerous visitors into its bosom every summer to supplement the 65,000 or so residents. These visitors to Torquay may have well used to visit the former hotel that created the inspiration behind the famous Fawlty Towers, however, that has since been and gone, so perhaps a good alternative form of entertainment may well be Torquay's one and only casino.

What used to be a Mint Casino was bought and refurbished by Genting Casinos back in 2013. Genting are a well-known and respected casino chain that is ever expanding, so you’ll find things here that you’d also find in any number of their other establishments. Roulette is available in both the traditional and electronic variations, with the likes of BlackJack and Crazy 4 Card Poker also found around the casino floor. Electronic roulette isn’t the only machine-based game you can play; there are more than a few slot machines available for your entertainment.
Poker players of pretty much any standard will enjoy the offerings at Torquay’s Genting Casino. As well as lessons to teach you how to play, there are also regular tournaments for the more hardcore amongst you. If you’d prefer to get involved with a cash game rather than a tournament then you’ll have that option six nights a week.
As mentioned at the start, Torquay is a coastal town. As with all coastal towns, everything here is centered around the waterfront. The casino is located about 5-minutes or so from the front and both Torquay Train Station and Torre Train Station are a short walk away. The Genting is approximately equidistant from the both of them.
