The Grosvenor G Casino Aberdeen is located in the centre of the ‘Granite City’ in north east Scotland. Situated close to the harbour, it has a gaming space of 25,000 square feet.

The casino can be found just off the A9103 (Union Street) and if you park at the nearby NCP car park, the casino will validate your ticket. It is a short walk (about 10 minutes) from the train and bus stations and Aberdeen airport is only 10 miles away. There are several hotels to be found in the centre, the closest to the casino are the Ibis and the Aberdeen Douglas.

Although the casino is open 24 hours, live gaming only starts at midday through to 6.00am. As well as the classic American roulette and blackjack games, the casino also features selected slots with a jackpot of £10,000. The large poker room has an array of poker tournaments, some with free entry in addition to dealer dealt cash games every day. Poker tournaments usually start at 4.00pm and 8.00pm on Sundays but it is best to contact the casino or check its website for full details. It is also possible to hire a dealer for private games. If you use your Grosvenor Players Points card, you will receive points every time you play, or when you buy a drink or a meal.

Special offers and packages are often available and you can enjoy live entertainment every weekend. Dining choices are varied – you can eat at either their restaurant or bar. Sport is regularly showcased on huge screens in their sports and entertainment lounge.

Ok

The G casino is definitely a better option than Gala (unless you like hords of drunken girls). And Im not just saying that because I won a ton on the spinners last time I came!!

They also have a points system that is a nice touch - I think I nearly have enough to buy half a shandy at the bar! I only play occasionally though so the big spenders will probably rack them up much quicker.

Food at the bar is ok - standard pub fare really which is pretty reasonably priced (most meals are around the £6/£7 mark), but the restaurant is much better. The mousse is ama-zing.
