With two floors of gaming space, Alea Casino is Scotland’s largest casino and is located in Glasgow. It can be found in an impressive setting overlooking the River Clyde. As well as featuring free live shows and music, it is also a showcase for Scottish art and design.

Just over 7 miles from Glasgow airport, the casino is less than a mile from the city centre. Drivers should take the M8 leaving at junction 20 (eastbound) or 21 (westbound). There are free parking facilities at the casino. The nearest underground station is Shields Road which is just a few minutes’ walk away. You can also catch one of the many buses that run from the city centre along Paisley Road. There is no on site hotel but you will find a number within walking distance including Hotel Ibis, Hotel Indigo, Travelodge Glasgow and the Glasgow Marriott.

The main floor has 20 gaming tables and there are 21 electronic gaming machines and 40 for electronic roulette. Poker tournaments and cash games are held seven nights a week and the casino hosts seven poker festivals every year as well as international tournaments. Texas Hold'Em and Omaha are on offer with rake at 5%. The gaming tables are open seven days a week from 2.00pm to 6.00am. Alea Casino has a restaurant offering various menus, three bars and an extensive cocktail menu. They also have huge TV screens showing all the major sporting events. As a live entertainment venue, there is a DJ every Friday and Saturday and various live acts throughout the month.
