Formerly belonging to the Gala Casino Group until its recent acquisition by Rank Grosvenor, The Grosvenor Casino Glasgow Princes is a relatively large casino. It is located on the City’s famous Sauchiehall Street – Glasgow’s one a half mile main shopping thoroughfare.
Glasgow airport is nine miles away and the central station is only a 15 minute walk from the casino although the nearest local rail station is Charing Cross, a few hundred yards away. Access to the casino by car is via the M8 and A804 and although there is no free parking, there is on street parking and a national car park two blocks away. There are a plethora of hotels to choose from in Glasgow and the nearest to the casino are The Premier Inn, Victorian House, Novotel and the Ibis.
The Grosvenor Princes Casino has a greater variety of table games than most Grosvenor venues including Punto Banco (baccarat) with a £5 minimum stake. Mahjong is also available – and players receive complimentary Chinese Tea, Chinese Newspapers and Chinese TV.
