Please note: The Corinthian Club stopped operating as a casino in September 2014 following a number of restrictions being placed on its license due to concerns about disorder.

The Corinthian Casino is situated in the former Glasgow Ship Bank Building which dates back to the 1840s and is Grade 1 listed. It underwent an extensive and sympathetic renovation in 1999 retaining many of its original features when it opened as a leisure venue. It has five floors and its gaming takes place on two levels.

Its central location lends itself to a large choice of hotels but within walking distance are the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel, the Merchant City Inn and the Millennium Hotel. Glasgow is the nearest airport – 10 miles away and Edinburgh airport is 40 miles from the centre of the city. Drivers should leave the M8 at junction 15 (signposted A803) where they will find free parking in the nearby NCP after 6.00pm. Buchanan bus station is half a mile from the Corinthian as is Glasgow central train station but nearer are Queen Street and Argyle Street railway stations.

Table games (open from 6.00pm) include American Roulette, Blackjack, Flip Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Baccarat, Poker plus a range of electronic slots and Touchbet Roulette (open from noon) spread across the ground floor and mezzanine. Private poker tables can be hired as part of their casino packages where an experienced croupier will deal the game, offering instruction if required. A wide range of minimum and maximum bets are available with bets starting from as little as 10p on the slots and 50p at the roulette tables. The Corinthian loyalty programme earns you points while you play all games.

The venue also has Tellers bar and brasserie with food cooked to order, five bars and seven events halls featuring dining, drinking, dancing and live music. Special events occur regularly at the Corinthian and it is a good idea to look at their website before your visit for all the latest entertainment options.
