Situated on the south coast in the heart of the waterfront district, Grosvenor Casino Southampton is a modern casino. It is located next to the Leisure World shopping and entertainment complex opposite the West Quay Retail Park.
Just off the A33, drivers should follow signs for the Waterfront and West Dock where they will find a dedicated car park or there are generally spaces at the Leisure World car park. Valet parking is provided on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7.00pm. Southampton airport is only five miles away and the nearest major train station – Southampton Central – is half a mile from the casino. There are a number of hotels within walking distance including the Holiday Inn and Grand Harbour Hotel.
As well as five tables of roulette, one for three card poker and four blackjack tables, baccarat players are also catered for. They have a variety of electronic roulette machines as well as selected slots offering a £10,000 jackpot. Poker is a prominent feature of the Grosvenor Southampton with its dedicated section. Four cash games are played every day from 6.00pm. Dealer dealt Texas Hold’em poker competitions also take place every night and Sunday afternoons (see website or contact casino for up-to-date details and timings). The Grosvenor’s Play Points loyalty card allows you to collect points every time you play, eat or buy a drink at the venue.
The restaurant is open from Wednesdays through to Saturdays, however their extensive bar menu is available daily. The casino offers regular promotions such as their blockbuster bar menu for £11.95 per person which includes a free Odeon cinema ticket to use on a day of your choice - available midday to midnight every Thursday. Their sports/entertainment screen gives you the opportunity to watch live sporting events.

Grosvenor Southampton
The Southampton Grosvenor is where I popped my live poker cherry. There are regular games throughout the week including beginners games where they'll show you the ropes.
Most of the tournaments are rebuys and they get a fairly decent turnout (although once there weren't enough players to run the game so they let the handful of us that were there play an unofficial mini game) and the competition is relatively weak. :-D
The gaming floor has multiple blackjack and roulette tables as well as carribean stud poker. Plus a small handful of slots.
